Dr. Kaelynne Joye Mason

Dr. Kaelynne Joye Mason’s journey has taken her from humble beginnings in the DMV to pursuing her dreams in Atlanta, Florida, and beyond. Along the way, Dr. Kaelynne has embraced the role of Author, Psalmist, Leadership Consultant, Prophetic Teacher, Professor, and Mentor. Also known by her stage name K. Joye, she is an American Gospel/Soul singer-songwriter. Dr. Kaelynne received her Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree at Regent University. Her interests include pursuing a career in Instructional Design and Higher Education while maintaining her singing career. She has the pleasure of serving as a Director, Professor, and Program Coordinator at a prestigious HBCU in Houston, TX. Kaelynne enjoys teaching Criminal Law and Procedure as well as Substance Abuse courses and volunteering to teach bible study through the Joye Outreach Foundation. Her goal is to prove that you can love God, serve others, and receive an education while pursuing your dreams. Outside of her higher education career, Kaelynne Mason is also a Branding Consultant for business leaders, non-profit organizations, and churches.

Through her nonprofit organization and mentorship program, she enjoys providing women and youth with empowerment resources such as webinars, planners, and interactive workbooks to be successful in every area of their lives. In 2017, Kaelynne graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Bethune-Cookman University. Shortly after, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Law from Regent University. A series of life events inspired Kaelynne to create an in-home studio so that she could teach herself how to record and produce music. In April of 2018, Kaelynne released her first single titled “Act Right,” which appeared on Hot 94.1’s radio station in Daytona Beach, FL. In May 2018, she released her popular single titled “Wave.” Kaelynne has appeared on radio stations such as Mystics Entertainment and received positive feedback from Hot 107.9’s Heat Seekers. On August 17, 2018, she released her 1st R&B/Soul album titled “The End.” This heartfelt and relatable album shares stories about the absence of her father, the struggles of relationships, and self-love. The album’s title, “The End,” signifies the importance that the end of something old is always the beginning of something new. Kaelynne released her 2nd album titled “S.O.U.L (Savior Offering Unfailing Love)” on October 5, 2019. She dedicated this gospel album to the one who gave her the gift of song, God.
Kaelynne’s journey doesn't stop at singing, teaching, mentoring, and consulting. Driven by her passion for creating spaces where women can come together, connect, and grow spiritually, Kaelynne founded a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization called the Joye Outreach Foundation and curated a women’s retreat called Jesus and Jammies. Finally, in 2022, Kaelynne penned her first book, My Life, My Confidence in God. Her dedication to teaching is evident in her award-winning curriculum, Empowering Excellence: Nurturing Professionalism, Emotional Intelligence, and Life Skills in College Students, which earned the Outstanding Project Award from Regent University. She is also known for curating worship experiences called Invitation into the Throne Room around the nation and women’s mentorship at www.GetGodGirl.com. Throughout her journey, Kaelynne remains grounded, always recognizing that her talent and success were gifts from God. She firmly believes that with faith and dedication, anything is possible. Her ultimate goal is to help people discover their God-given gifts, power, and authority through Jesus Christ, and she uses her music, teaching, and mentoring roles as platforms to spread that message. With her unwavering faith in God and a steadfast commitment to making a difference, Kaelynne remains an inspiration to all who aspire to live a life filled with purpose and service.
